Intro to my Genius Project Blog and what it will be like for the next couple weeks
Welcome to my blog! Within this blog you can see the process of my Genius Project by learning how to create DIY (do it yourself) projects with me! Why this project? Well, I've always wanted to create DIY for my own good and to teach others on how to create the DIY in a more simpler way. In this blog I will post pictures of 4 different type of DIY projects that you can follow along for the next 6 weeks.
If you also want to follow along here is my plan for the next couple weeks of my project. In the first week of the project I will be coming up with ideas and content of what to create. The second week I'll be buying all my materials I need. The third and fourth/fifth/sixith week I will be posting the DIY projects starting from the hardest DIYs to the easiest on InstagramRight down below is a visual of my plan from week to week.
My Plan for the Next 6 Weeks
Week 1 - Creating ideas ex. writing a list, vision board etc.
Week 2 - Buying supplies
Week 3 - Create DIY 1 & 2
Week 4 - Create DIY 3 & 4
Week 5 - Post picture on Instagram ex. YouTube, Instagram
Week 6 - Post picture on Instagram
Although 6 weeks seems like a long time, being a student there are big obstacles that I have to jump over. There obstacles like doing more important projects that interfere with this project. Being an organized person, I will create a plan every week till this project is over by using a planner and keeping up to it. Another obstacle is not getting the materials on time. I will get over this obstacles by getting materials from time to time if I see a great deal and buy the remaining materials on the second week. One other problem I have to face is not having enough money to buy the materials. I can get over this by saving up money and try looking for better deals.
Here is a quick heads up of my future projects, I planned on creating a bullet journal dedicated to school. A bullet journal is sort of like a planner but it's more free and you can record anything and decorate it any way you want. The bullet journal is one of the most easiest project that I will take on and will be done on the 4th week of my project. I also planned on customizing my shirt that is embroidered with a quote or a cute outline or a drawing. Although this project may seem easy I will have to come up with ideas of what I'd want my customized embroidered shirt would look like. Some ideas I have right now is shown in the shared video below. Other ideas might be using fake flowers and just sewing it on the shirt but that isn't the main purpose of my DIY project for an embroidered shirt. However, this project might be too expensive so think of other ways you can get the materials!
